0 to 60 kind of weekend!

Sorry it’s been awhile since I've posted. Honestly it's because this past week was just a crazy dream!

On the 26th I found out I got accepted into Debut as a designer, by the 30th I was meeting people and getting paperwork signed, by the 1st and 2nd I was attending debut 2016 and the recipient of a full year scholarship!

It all happened so fast I don't even remember breathing. I'm so overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement! I feel so luckily that this next year of my life I will be on this journey to figure out my core as a designer and will have 9 months to build my very own collection. It is the most surreal feeling to watch my dreams become reality.

(However! lets not forget dreams don’t pay the bills... or at least not yet! So this past week when I wasn't running to shows/ dinners I was at work. So everyone is seeing a very tired Ashley this week...plus I start school this Thursday...yeaaah 5am wake up calls...so excited...)

The Debut fashion show was unbelievable this year! It was so cool to see all these talented students! They went all out from chairing styles, costume design, and to the debut students. It was such and inspiration.

The scholarship I received was the Rose Morbit Bolognone Scholarship. I was so surprised and honored to have received this scholarship. After the award ceremony I found out the scholarship is from the President of FIDM (Tonian Hohberg) in her mother honor. Couldn't be in more shock.

This all makes the hard work I’ve been putting in worth it and I cant wait to start this journey in the next chapter of my life!
