Hit the Ground Running…Because Walking isn’t an Option

So this past Tuesday I had my first meeting with the board members of debut to discuss how fun the next 9 months will be. AKA map out the intense 9 months of due dates, deadline, collection pieces, fabrics, projects, patterns, trims, sketches, and the hours in the studios. I am use to the feeling of spinning 50 plates in the air at once but debut will certainly put me to the test as if every second they are going to though 10 more plates the size of manhole covers at me. Luckily I live off the adrenaline rush and don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. We will be working around 12-14 hours a day in the studios, 2 days a week back to back…oh and a 30 min – 2 hour commute.
As crazy as it is, it is all so beyond worth it! I cannot even believe the opportunities. If you ask me how I am feeling, it is a mix of riding an upside down roller coaster after chili fries and the hype of the first day of summer.
